Day 1

So I survived day 1! I had a massive induction session with more new starters than my whole department used to have back at prime, then i found my seat and set up my system. Lots and lots to learn, that will be my whole week I think, learning new stuff. Oh and eating free catered breakfast lunch and dinner :)

New job!

So I'm finishing up in 2 weeks at Prime, and moving to Sydney for a few months to work as a Technical Assistant at Dr D on Happy Feet 2!

Possum and Doopa Rap Videos

For the kids shows Possums Club on Prime7 and Doopa Dog on our WA station GWN7 we produced a light hearted rap video (a parody of sorts of the hip hop scene). I was responsible for all the post.

New Possum's club segment I'm making!

Awards package

Currently making an awards package at work. Was struggling for concept and design, as last year it got dragged out and stuffed around by an unneccessary intermediary and the choice to do it all 3d was costly in render time. So this year I started with a side scrolling concept. In my freelance work I'm working on a title sequence, and the client has asked that I use an existing sequence as inspiration for the style they're after.

It has however, also given me a great look to use in this package as well :)

Possums Club!

I got to work on the new designs of Possum's Club and the WA version Doopa's Club (Both were previously just "The Saturday Club") which is now a full half hour show!

Lots of stuff from the logos, super bars, updated opener, themed segment openers, redesigned the cartoons of the mascots. Its on 11 am Saturday morning from tomorrow so check it out!

Oakley Arctic Challenge

So I was streaming the oakley arctic challenge last night, and they had an awesome graphics package.
The jittery 3d stuff at the start reminded me a lot of an MTV id I'd seen in 2009. Seems the distorted space and time effect isn't dead!
